This is the way we can make the fastest progress for you and your horse. We will spend at least 10 hours per week training your horse.at our facility. A progress log will be maintained and shared with you on your horses training. It is very important that we spend an hour or two with you and your horse, so you know how to maintain what your horse has learned.

Training by the hour at our facility or yours
.
We will work with your horse on a hourly basis. For those of you who want to be a part of your horses training, we can teach you exercised to reinforce what we have taught your horse. We look at this as doing your homework. Just like being is school, for this method to be most effective, it is important that the homework is done.
Cost $30 per hour
Due to Gas prices we must assess a mileage fee if we travel to your facility.

Colt Starting
We will start your horse with a solid foundation training to prepare him/her for whatever job you have planned.
Training will include:
Leading on a lose lead
Accepting the bit
Giving to the bit
Rein cues taught first on the ground
Round pen skills at liberty
Being caught
Accepting the saddle
Standing still for mounting and dismounting
Go forward on cue
Stopping on cue
Walk, trot, lope/canter under saddle
Our goal is a soft, willing, responsive horse

Advanced Horse Training

We will work with your horse that has been started to develop the skills for general riding or for a specific job you have planned.

Problem Horse Training
There are many horses that have learned behaviors that do not fit well with how we want them to act. We do not believe these are bad horses. They have just learned a behavior that we do not want. These behaviors can be changed through training where we teach the horse a different response.

Barrel Training
We believe in training the horse to respond to our cues in a controlled, energetic and willing manner in Barrel and Pole Competition.

Trailer Loading Training
We look for a horse to load and unload in a controlled willing manner. This is accomplished through a progressive training program.
